Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award (TRYLA) 2018

TRYLA has successfully empowered and nurtured many young people over the years to become the next generation of leaders. Throughout the five days, individuals are encouraged to explore their values and personality styles to develop teamwork, communication and overall leadership skills. TRYLA not only prepares young people for constructive and responsible community involvement; it also provides the tools to achieve a more successful professional and personal life.

Set against the backdrop of a beach, a whaler docked to the side and cabins lining the step climb along the face of the hill facing the sea, AAMO participants were exposed to the challenges and wonders of the TRYLA programme.  This is the second year that TRYLA has included international participation through the network of AAMO. Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award 2017: MIM Sponsors AAMO Participants

Set against the backdrop of a beach, a whaler docked to the side and cabins lining the step climb along the face of the hill facing the sea, AAMO participants were exposed to the challenges and wonders of the MIM Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award Programme (TRYLA). 

This is the first time that TRYLA has included international participation and that too through the network of AAMO. MIM offered sponsorship for the Programme Fees for one participant from each AAMO Member Organisation. 2017 saw participation from India, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

Young Managers Programme 2017

Organized by the Macau Management Association (MMA) and Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO), the Young Managers’ Programme 2017 was held from 6 – 10  November 2017. A  group of 18 delegates participated, which included Mr Vignesha Dharumaseharan,  a representative of MIM Corporate Member – Panaron Sdn Bhd. The delegates visited the Peninsula Hong Kong, DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

They heard from guest speakers Mr Patrick Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Inchcape Greater Chine and Ms Crystal Hung, Founder and Group Managing Director of Chocolatier and Spa Formula Ltd. who shared their stories and experiences with the participants on innovative leadership and business start-ups at the CEO talk. The delegates were also taken on a cultural tour of Macau.
